Womens Hair Loss: Before & After Photos

Even though I have been in the hair loss business for over 30 years – I never really felt that someday I would need my own services.

Like many women, after going through menopause, I began to loose my hair. At first, my hair just seemed thinner. Eventually, I could see my scalp on the top of my head (not just in the part like before).

My hair loss really began to make me feel unattractive and I was forever checking my thinning hair in the mirror.

One morning, my husband said to me, "If you are worried about your hair loss – do something about. You are in that business, right?"

Since my hair loss was only on the top of my head, I thought that a hair replacement would be better than a wig, at least for me.

After six weeks, I had my custom-made hair replacement and one of my girls cut it in for me. I can truly say that I love it. Not only do I feel great, but I also can change my hairstyle whenever I like. New clients cannot believe that I wear hair! At least until I show them. But they do find comfort in knowing that I also suffer from hair loss.

All my life I had a full head of curly brown hair. When I turned 40 years old, however, I noticed that my hair was thinning at the back of my head.

At first, I just curled my hair over this area and used shampoos designed to stimulate hair growth. Unfortunately, I continued to lose hair and my thinning area grew too big to hide, even with a special cover up powder.

Dear Adrienne and Cindy,

I wanted to write to you and thank you for the wonderful service I received when I cam to Adrienne's Hair Designs. You both, as well as everyone I met, are an understanding and cheerful group of women that I needed in a time where I was unsure and felt lousy about myself!

My new hairpiece and I are "still getting to know each other" and I am finding myself more excited to wear and style it with every passing day. I am learning that instead of dwelling on the fact that I will probably never have my own thick hair back I have a way now to look and feel my very best.
